NCFE LEVEL 1 FUNCTIONAL SKILLS ENGLISH QUALIFICATION IN ENGLISH (603/5058/1)

NCFE Functional Skills English qualifications enable learners to develop confidence and fluency in, and a positive attitude towards, English. Learners will be able to competently use English in the real world, and gain a sound grasp of basic English knowledge and skills. This course can be used in preparation for GCSE English. It also helps learners progress into employment or further education, and develop skills for everyday life.

The examination consists of 3 compulsory units:

NOTE: Students will be streamed to the appropriate qualification based on GCSE results, and where relevant a diagnostic exam can be used.

Successful completion of the course offers candidates several routes for progression:
